Ashley Duck Fundraising Evening

In March 2010 five year old Ashley Duck was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) and has since been receiving intensive treatment at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.

Ashley's family and friends have decided to get together and raise money for the charity "Children with Leukaemia" through a series of sponsored activities and events.

FM Events are pleased to announce that we will be providing PA, backline and lighting for a fund raising evening of live music at Fernwood Village Hall on Saturday 12th June. The event is open invite and free to enter and will feature local bands Awaken Once More, The Unusual Suspects, Flipside and True Lies with guest appearances from other performers throughout the night.

Janey Girling Memorial Night

On Friday March 5th 2010 FM Events provided PA and stage management for the Janey Girling Memorial Fund Raiser staged in aid of Beaumond House Hospice in Newark.

The event featured local bands Kiss Corona and True Lies and through a series of auctions, raffles and pledges raised a total of around £9,000 for a truly worthwhile cause.
